My Munnar.....

The sun kissed valleys and gleaming river
 leaves rustling catching the laughter of the breeze
Like the anklets worn by Aphrodite herself
Twinkling and smiling at unheard sites
The rain that falls on the mysterious plains
Unfrom beautiful mists and mischevious clouds
Picked and embellished by the daughter of dawn
Blessing life on and on

The wind that howls with the rhythm of the trees
The hearts that beat with the music of the mountains
The springs that tail gathering the love of the lord
And the sun that blushes rose on above...

A place so sweet has never been seen this far
Of this inspiring land of Munnar😍

This poem is very close to my heart n I would dedicate it to the tea plantation workers of Munnar.. I wrote this poem sittingwhile traveling in Munnar since I was so inspired by the sights I saw there. I luv the place n I hope its beauty shines on till the end of time😊☺

Just Me and My Shadow

Just Me and My Shadow

The night's weeping, silently amidst the same old clouds
The world's turning , but there's nothing else happening
The time's stuck between life and death
And I walk so alone, just Me and My shadow...

The trees seek a new color
Dangling between hope and despair
The lamps glow with a faint yellow light
The air's chilly and so is my soul
But I walk so alone, just me and my shadow...

The moon's changing, it's craters deepening darker
The wolf's howling caught up in some dense spirit
The buds are dreaming in the mid summer's Breeze
Yet I walk so alone , just Me and My shadow...

A song in my heart
A whistle on my lips
A soft glow in my eyes
Ain't it too dark? Still I walk so alone
Just Me and My shadow...

It's best to curl up on your bed
Or to curb in the beautiful soul of yours
But no, I need to fall in to dangers
And fight it to nurture a dawn in me
To push myself and not settle for the cities
Cause my spirit wanders in the green wildernesses
My heart catches the tune of the rumbilng hills
My soul kisses the lush sweet meadows

So I walk all alone, away from the world

Just Me and My shadow....
